Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Data Entry Specialist to join their family-owned trucking business in the Zachary/Baker area. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing large volumes of information including dispatch information for truckers. The ideal candidate must be able to type with excellent precision, speed, and attention to detail. This full-time position will start in the pay range of $13-$14 per hour, and our client offers a 100%-paid health benefits package.


Responsibilities:

• Enter and update data into databases and spreadsheets with precision and efficiency
• Verify the accuracy of data entries by cross-referencing with source documents and correcting discrepancies
• Maintain organized records of all entered data for easy retrieval and audit purposes

Requirements:

• Strong typing and ten-key proficiency
• Prior data entry experience is greatly appreciated
• Previous warehouse or dispatch experience is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high accuracy standards
