We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Economic Development Intern to join our team for an 8-week internship . This position provides hands-on experience in economic research, supporting underserved communities, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project implementation. The intern will gain exposure to local and regional economic development initiatives, workforce development strategies, and marketing efforts aimed at business attraction and community growth. Additionally, the intern will help foster new relationships and strengthen existing ones within the business community, particularly in traditionally underserved areas. In close partnership with community organizations, this work will support efforts to strengthen and expand our co-located workforce training system—aligning education and training from partner entities with the evolving needs of local employers across our regional economy.
