Job Description

A leading industrial manufacturing organization in the transportation and heavy equipment space is seeking an EHS Manager to support a large remanufacturing operation in Las Vegas, Nevada . This person will be tasked with driving a proactive, people-first safety culture in a fast-paced, 24-hour industrial environment. The role focuses on building, strengthening, and sustaining site-wide environmental, health, and safety programs while partnering closely with operations and leadership. It’s a strong opportunity for an EHS professional to have visible impact and influence at a critical facility.

The Role

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of site-level environmental, health, safety, and loss prevention programs to support an injury-free workplace.
  • Drive safety culture through training, coaching, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, workers’ compensation requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and HR on ergonomics, onboarding, job safety analyses, and new process or facility changes.
  • Manage EHS-related vendors and programs, including waste streams, industrial hygiene monitoring, uniforms, and janitorial services.

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or a related discipline preferred, with at least 3 years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, workers’ compensation, and hazard identification.
  • Proven ability to lead incident investigations, develop corrective action plans, and improve safety systems and performance metrics.
  • Confident communicator with experience delivering training and influencing employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Professional safety certifications (CSP, ASP, CHMM) are preferred, along with strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
