Job Description

Our client, an automotive supply industry leader, is seeking a dedicated General Labor / Forklift Operator to join their team. As a General Labor / Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehousing and logistics department supporting operations that keep the supply chain moving efficiently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Labor / Forklift Operator

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range:

Shift: Fri & Sat 6am-5:30pm, Sun & Mon 6pm-3:30am

What's the Job?

• Operate forklift equipment safely to move, locate, relocate, and stack materials and products.
• Pick orders accurately using scan guns and operate overhead hoists as needed.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, supporting the movement of materials in a warehouse environment.
• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to ensure correct item handling.
• Perform repetitive duties with precision within standard work parameters to maintain efficiency and safety.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior forklift certification and experience operating forklifts.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking and carrying up to 60 pounds.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to changing weather conditions.
