About the Role We are looking for a People Operations Generalist to join our growing North America team. This is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional early in their career who is eager to gain broad exposure across employee lifecycle management, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and retail HR operations. The People Operations Generalist will play a critical role in supporting our retail stores, corporate team, and leadership by ensuring a positive employee experience while helping build and scale HR processes as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Coordinate full-cycle recruiting for retail and corporate positions. Schedule interviews and manage candidate communication. Post and maintain job advertisements across multiple platforms. Conduct initial candidate screenings and reference checks. Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Maintain candidate tracking and recruitment reporting. Onboarding & Employee Experience Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation. Coordinate new hire paperwork, background checks, and system access. Ensure all employee records are complete and compliant. Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture program. Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and requests. HR Operations & Administration Maintain employee files and HRIS records. Support payroll processing and employee data changes. Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment. Track leave requests, accommodations, and other employee programs. Prepare HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation. Manage employment verifications and employee letters. Retail HR Support Partner with store managers on staffing, scheduling, attendance, and performance concerns. Assist with corrective actions, investigations, and employee relations matters. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment law. Monitor staffing levels and support workforce planning initiatives. Assist with seasonal hiring efforts and store opening. Compliance & Process Improvement Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Assist in updating HR policies, procedures, and employee communications. Support training initiatives and manager development programs. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience. Qualifications 1–3 years of Human Resources experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience supporting hourly retail employees is a plus. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices preferred.
