Key responsibilities for this role include: Create an engaging and positive work environment by delivering all elements of HR programs and processes, such as compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, engagement, employee relations, training & development, compliance, and environmental, health & safe Acts as a partner and confidant to the General Manager, leadership team, and employees Be an advocate to all employees, ensuring the team lives within Smyth’s guiding principles of integrity, positive workplace, operational excellence, creativity, and final responsibility, maximizing the potential of all employees Proactive and engaging partner to ensure smooth facilitation of human resource programs and process, in support of the growth of the business Be a partner to the EVP/CHRO and a peer leader within the HR team The ideal candidate must demonstrate: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience working with multiple facets of an organization (Production, Sales, Customer Service) Problem-solving skills, resolving challenging and multifaceted issues Ability to influence without authority, drive change, and enable business results Strong organizational skills and attention to detail High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word Project management skills Education, Experience, and Credentials High School degree or equivalent, 4-year degree required Minimum of 5-years as an HR business partner role required Human Resources Certification preferred Experience in manufacturing and print industry is preferred English a must; multi-lingual preferred Travel required (alternate locations near Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Green Bay, WI) Compensation based on experience Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
