MMI Engineered Solutions is growing and looking for a driven Mold Setter to join our team at our plastic injection molding facility in Saline, Michigan. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll be responsible for mold changeovers, setup, and supporting production to ensure we are running quality parts safely and efficiently.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, solving problems, and being a key part of keeping production running.

• Perform mold setups and changeovers according to established process guidelines

• Prepare and stage all required equipment for mold setups, including temperature controllers, hoses, and fixtures

• Follow all safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, during mold installation

• Coordinate with the production and setup team to prepare tools and equipment for upcoming jobs

• Tear down molds and properly store molds and auxiliary equipment after production runs

• Identify and communicate any mold quality or safety concerns before and during installation

• 2–5 years of plastic injection molding experience preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and setup documentation

• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred

• Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills

• Basic computer skills (spreadsheets, work instructions, etc.)

• Manufacturing environment (may be hot, noisy, and dusty at times)

• Position requires frequent walking and physical activity on the production floor

• Safety is a top priority - mold installations must be stopped if a quality or safety issue is identified

Two Schedule Options:

A Shift: Monday through Wednesday 6:00am-12:15pm, and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:15pm.

B Shift: Monday through Wednesday 12:00pm-6:15pm, and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:15pm.
