Job Description

Aria Group is seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our architectural and design studio—contributing to creative concepts while expanding your technical expertise across all phases of a project.

If you’re passionate about design, detail-oriented, and excited to work in the restaurant, hospitality, and entertainment space, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Aria Group?

Founded in 1989, Aria Group is a collaborative, design-driven firm committed to creating thoughtful, technically sound architecture that responds to both client goals and community context. Our work is grounded in the belief that strong design emerges through open collaboration across disciplines.

We approach each project with a balance of creativity and precision—valuing clear communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail in every phase of the process. From concept through construction, our teams work closely together to deliver solutions that are purposeful, buildable, and enduring.

We foster a studio culture rooted in mentorship, professional growth, and shared accountability, where designers are encouraged to ask questions, expand their skill sets, and take ownership of their work. We value diverse perspectives, support continuous learning, and strive to create an inclusive environment where individuals and ideas can thrive.

What You’ll Do

As an Interior Designer at Aria Group, you will play a key role in both the creative and technical development of projects from concept through construction, collaborating with the design team to translate project vision into renderings, presentations, and detailed documentation. You’ll assist with concept research, floor planning, and space massing while contributing to design features and construction details, and support the preparation of design, bid, and construction documents with a strong focus on precision in drafting and Revit modeling. In this role, you’ll research and evaluate materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), contribute to functional and code-compliant space planning, and assist with shop drawing and RFI reviews during construction. You’ll actively participate in design problem-solving, maintain clear communication with team members, and follow Aria Group’s established processes, all while building a multidisciplinary skill set and expanding your knowledge of materials, building systems, life safety, ADA compliance, and current design trends, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive studio environment aligned with the firm’s mission, vision, and values.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • 1-3 years of experience in an architecture or design firm
  • Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment design is a plus
  • Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (required)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape, and Microsoft Office (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for the Architectural Designer position is $52,000 – $66,000 , based on experience, education, and qualifications.

Aria Group offers a competitive benefits package that includes:

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance options
  • Paid time off, paid holidays and volunteer time off
  • Retirement plan options, including employer match
  • Hybrid schedule with up to 2 days working remote per week
  • Professional development and continuing education support
  • Additional benefits consistent with the role

Aria Group Architecture + Design is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We value the unique perspectives and experience each team member brings and welcome candidates of all backgrounds to apply.
