PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. We take great pride in our product and are especially thankful to produce eyeglasses for United States Veterans. At PDS Optical, we are committed to delivering exceptional eyewear and outstanding service to our Veterans. We're seeking a Georgia Licensed Optician's to join our team at the Tifton VA in Tifton, GA and help us uphold our mission of providing GREAT Veteran CARE!

Position Details:

• Full-time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No nights or weekends!
• Pay Range: $23-29/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Veterans.
• Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
• Work collaboratively to foster a positive and productive environment.
• Comply with security clearance requirements by successfully passing a background check.

Qualifications:

• Georgia Optician license required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Skilled in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear.
• Proficient in using lensometers, pupilometers, and computers.
• Knowledge of VA benefits and discounts for optical services.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
