Independent Living – Life Skills Coach Part‑time Day Shift (9am–6pm), covering Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, and Petaluma areas. Benefits $22 per hour Benefits for full‑time employees beginning within 30 days Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (9am–6pm) Team support, training, and opportunities for career growth and advancement Responsibilities Coach clients on building independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal hygiene. Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. Help plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules that work for clients. Maintain consistent documentation of progress through case notes and quarterly reports. Spend approximately 90% of time in the field with clients and 10% on administration and documentation. Collaborate with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff. Qualifications Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Ability to work and commute in and around Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, and Petaluma areas. Ability to pass a background check per state industry standards. Computer literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry. Strong communicator, dependable, and creative problem‑solver. Flexibility to work to accommodate varying client needs and work independently in one‑on‑one settings. Heart for helping others and belief in treating people with dignity and respect.
