Job Title: Network Engineer (Senior Cloud Security Engineer) 8502
Work Location: 1801 Main Street, Columbia, SC 29201
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days remote / 2 days onsite)

Project Overview The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will:
- Work collaboratively with product owners, network, and security teams.
- Design and deliver secure, scalable, large-scale cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure).
- Be hands-on in security implementation and operations (not a developer role).
- Engage in automation, design, and optimization of cloud security frameworks .
- Contribute to security compliance and documentation across enterprise systems.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities - Design and deploy highly available and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure).
- Develop automation and cloud security accelerators .
- Work with Security Operations teams on SIEM, SOAR, XDR systems.
- Implement Zero Trust cloud architectures.
- Manage and resolve configuration and performance issues across environments.
- Ensure compliance with major frameworks ( NIST, HIPAA, SOX, PCI, CMMC, PII, CUI ).
- Create and maintain security tool documentation, incident reports, and deployment configurations .
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure alignment on security best practices.
Required Skills - 5-10 years of Information Security and Engineering experience.
- 5+ years designing and maintaining AWS/Azure infrastructure .
- 5+ years deploying and managing Firewalls in AWS & Azure .
- 5+ years deploying/configuring Palo Alto Cloud VM Series Firewalls .
- Strong Cloud Security Design, Operations, and Automation background.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills (security tools, reports, configs).
- AWS or Azure Certification (Required).
