Job Position: Office Assistant

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Location: Fargo, ND 58103

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $23.00/hr DOE

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities
• Greet visitors and clients with professionalism and warmth at the front desk, managing multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette.
• Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide exceptional customer support to ensure positive interactions.
• Assist in the Accounts Payable and Receivable process
• Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records and organized files.
• Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to support financial recordkeeping.
• Provide assistance to office staff

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications for efficient document handling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with office management tasks such as filing systems, data entry, and calendar management.
• Knowledge of front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette to ensure professional communication.
• Familiarity with clerical tasks like proofreading, document formatting, and record keeping.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping software like QuickBooks and general office computer literacy.
