Job Summary

We are seeking a Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our team! As a Woofie's employee, you will meet our client's pets at their residence and walk them for their designated time/route. You will be responsible for keeping the dog safe during your walk, cleaning up after them, and creating a pet journal for their pet parents utilizing our software. We also provide pet sitting for dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, and other animals. The ideal candidate has experience working with pets of many sizes and breeds, can work outside in a variety of temperatures and seasons, and has excellent customer service skills. Pay is determined by the length and number of visits per day.

Responsibilities 

• Greet pets, ensure they are properly dressed (harness, collar, etc.) and safely secured
• Walk pets for the designated time 
• Clean up after any pets in your care
• Use common sense and best dog walking practices to ensure dogs are safe and healthy while in your care

Qualifications

• Must be available for mid-day, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check
• Neat and clean appearance
• Experience working with dogs of multiple breeds and sizes desired
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to walk several miles each day in a variety of weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of dog safety, collars, and leashes
