Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing Physical Therapy services within a year-round outpatient program focused on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while working with patients ranging from 12 years old to older adults, with a primary focus on young adults. Enjoy a flexible weekly commitment of 15-20 hours, with most patients attending two sessions per week. You’ll be part of a supportive environment that emphasizes patient relationships and positive outcomes—restraints are never required.

What We’re Seeking:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in either school or healthcare settings
• Confidence working with individuals with a wide range of intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid systems; script writing not required
• Prior experience in outpatient or school-based therapy is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and genuine empathy; building patient rapport is essential
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Motivated to adjust scheduling collaboratively—flexibility in hours can be discussed during the interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and daily function
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Foster trust and engagement with patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with industry standards
