Job Title: Production Planning Administrator (MRP) – Temp to Hire
Location: Stockton, CA
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planning Administrator to support manufacturing operations by releasing and managing work orders from inception through completion using an MRP system. This role plays a key part in ensuring production schedules are met by coordinating materials, tracking work orders, and supporting manufacturing teams across shared work centers.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a stable manufacturing organization in Stockton.

Key Responsibilities
Create, release, monitor, and update work orders based on MPS/MRP planned order requirements.
Track work orders from material kitting through completion and closing.
Expedite work orders through production processes to meet required completion dates.
Support manufacturing teams by coordinating production activities across shared work centers.
Work with program teams and stores to resolve material shortages or replacement needs.
Provide updates on work-in-progress (WIP), material availability, and potential production issues.
Generate shipping documentation using the MRP system.
Monitor and maintain accurate WIP inventory levels.
Assist in maintaining schedules and production flow for assigned products.

Qualifications
High school diploma required.
2– 5 years of experience using an MRP or ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
Experience as a Production Planner, Materials Planner, or similar manufacturing support role preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain flow, and production scheduling.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize competing demands, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Requirements
