We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy modalities, and lifestyle interventions.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, ensuring safe and effective use aligned with current clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system for accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment progress.
• Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health support for diverse populations across various settings.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies to promote recovery and resilience.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with valid state licensure in New Jersey.
• Proven experience in behavioral health settings, including outpatient clinics or inpatient facilities such as hospitals or psychiatric units.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, including medication management for complex mental health issues.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for seamless clinical documentation.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to work with adolescents, adults and seniors.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and CPT codes and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality and data security.
