Building personal training clientele through club referrals and personal drive, energy, and ambition. Providing personal training demonstrations and member assistance sessions per protocol of the Pro Fitness Program. Completing all administrative duties in a timely manner per protocol. Must possess the following attributes: Outgoing, friendly, vivacious, and enthusiastic demeanor Mature and professional manner and appearance Excellent organizational skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude Enjoys working with members of all ages and has a passion for fitness Qualifications include: 3 national personal training certifications and/or a fitness-related degree plus 2 additional national certifications At least 3 years of previous personal training experience Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain one (free online course provided upon employment) Ability to work various shifts including weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather Solid references Compensation at Retro Fitness of Fort Lee, NJ: Hourly rate: $30-$36 for one-on-one sessions, $34-$40 for partner sessions, $17-$23 for 30-minute sessions Commission: 5% on new personal training package sales; 2.5% on demonstration-based sales Company Perks include: Complimentary Ultimate Membership (excluding access to other locations) Access to Edge Well wellness center: free recovery modalities, orthopedic evaluations, and discounted treatments Discounts on smoothies, drinks, protein bars, apparel, and other items Discounts on Spartan Meals and personal training packages NASM discounts Flexible schedule and positive company culture This position reports to the Director of Fitness and General Manager.
