Senior TIG/MIG Welder Job description: Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior TIG/MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a skilled welder who takes pride in producing high-quality work, can read blueprints and engineering drawings, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will have extensive TIG and MIG welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting team production goals. Responsibilities Weld metal components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications using TIG and MIG welding processes Inspect materials and parts prior to welding to ensure quality and accuracy Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools Perform repetitive production welding while maintaining quality standards Use hand tools and measuring equipment as required Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Assist in other production areas as needed to support operational requirements Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures QualificationsRequired Minimum 5 years of TIG and MIG welding experience Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work efficiently Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds or more Preferred Qualifications Experience in metal fabrication or metal shop production Experience welding aluminum and stainless steel Experience operating or programming Miller robotic welding systems Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word and Outlook) Location: Somerset, NJ Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: First Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Overtime as needed Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $22 - $28 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
