Part-Time Daycare Substitute (not a summer position)

We are seeking a dependable and flexiblePart-Time Substituteto join our daycare team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and can step in to support classrooms as needed in a positive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support full-time staff in all classroom duties
• Supervise and engage with children in a safe, nurturing manner
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining an organized classroom environment
• Ensure compliance with allNew York State Daycare Regulations
• Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher, Director, and team members
• Help foster an atmosphere of goodwill, open communication, and teamwork

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience working with young children preferred
• Ability to be flexible and work in any classroom as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Schedule:

• Part-time, as needed (flexible/on-call substitute role)
• Center hours: 7:30 AM 5:30 PM
• Daily assignments based on the centers needs
• Preference for candidates with availability in the early afternoon through closing
