Weekend Nanny Needed In Coral Gables

A busy professional family in Coral Gables is seeking a fun, engaging, and dependable Weekend Nanny to care for their active 2.5-year-old son. The ideal candidate genuinely loves working with toddlers, is creative, energetic, and enjoys planning meaningful activities that keep children active, learning, and engaged throughout the day.

The family is seeking someone looking for a long-term commitment through at least next summer.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, guaranteed 8-hour shifts per day. Schedule will typically begin in the morning or late morning and continue until approximately 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and engaging care for one toddler child
• Plan age-appropriate activities, outings, and educational play
• Encourage active play, creativity, and developmental learning
• Prepare meals and snacks for the child
• Assist with nap scheduling and maintaining routines
• Supervise indoor and outdoor activities
• Maintain child-related cleanliness and organization
• Provide nurturing, dependable, and cheerful care
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding routines and activities

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional nanny experience
• Experience caring for toddlers and young children
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Energetic, engaging, and creative personality
• Ability to commit long-term through next summer preferred
• Candidates living near Coral Gables preferred
• Professional references required

Compensation: Approximately $35 per hour guaranteed 8-hour shifts per day, with potential opportunity for additional weekday hours as needed.
