Welder/Fabricator

This position is based out of our Riverside Missouri facility.

As a Welder, you will play a mission-critical role in keeping our customers up and running! You'll use your expertise, abilities, and problem-solving skills to fabricate and repair equipment to bring positive results for customers while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints or digital models.
• Moving steel with a forklift and overhead crane.
• Cutting material to size using a band saw, cutting torch or grinder.
• Laying out parts and prepping material for welding.
• Setting up machines and welding carbon and stainless steels with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes.
• Welding in all positions.
• Passing various types of visual and nondestructive inspections on completed work.
• Following safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Maintaining a neat and clean work area.
• Must supply welding hood and hand tools.
• Working alone or as a team.
• Continuous learning of products, applications, technology, market conditions and competitive advantages.

Skills and qualifications:

• Required:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Desire and ability to work in a fast paced and continuously changing field.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• High level communication and organization skills, as well as a positive attitude towards customer service.
• Solid basic computer knowledge.
• Works well independently or with a team.
• Ability to manually lift and maneuver heavy objects, parts, equipment and materials.
• Ability to work under little supervision.
• Customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors under extreme weather conditions.
• Adaptable and comfortable with changing environments and protocols, understanding other duties might be required.
• Preferred:
• Degree from a Technical or Vocational school in pipe and structural welding.
• Previous experience in industrial construction or maintenance.
