Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Special Education teaching position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Moyock, NC, serving students across all grade levels from K through 12. The role focuses on working with students who have a range of special needs, including those with dyslexia, and caseloads may vary from moderate to profound depending on the candidates experience and preferences.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs, adapting instructional methods to promote literacy and academic achievement, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student development. The ideal candidate will manage diverse caseloads across grades K-12 and ensure compliance with all applicable special education regulations and best practices.
