Job Title: 401K Administrator
Job Summary:
We are a leading provider of third-party administration services for retirement plans, seeking an experienced Administration Team Leader to manage a team of three professionals and oversee a dedicated book of retirement plans. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in retirement plan administration, with ASPPA or NIPA certifications strongly preferred. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who ensures excellence in client service, compliance, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ADP/ACP, top-heavy, coverage, and general tests to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Prepare contribution calculations, Form 5500, and other required regulatory documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee interactions with clients and advisors via phone and email, delivering excellent service and clear, effective communication.
• Work with multiple investment companies and recordkeepers, utilizing various platforms and procedures to manage retirement plans efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retirement plan administration
• QKA highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations and retirement plan compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on client service.
• Proficiency in retirement plan administration software and familiarity with investment company and recordkeeper websites.
